DISOLLUTIO

need to ask my tchr about "dissolutio" - want to make a simile between "corruption" physically which takes place in the passions for hte medievals and "corruption" (speaking metaphorically) of the soul in extreme passion - dissolution.

What is dissolved? the soul? 22.1 is basically about hte nobility of the soul - objections 1,2,3 - it can't suffer! Oh, not only can it suffer, in extreme cases, it can "dissolve" temporarily (of course resolving itself again after).

Will be useful not only as a footnote on p. 1 of "passions in the prima secundae" BUT also perhaps I can use it to extend to my discussions on sorrow as being the extreme end - relating to either death, madness, loss of reason - whatever.
